The Serene Freestanding Bath is a symmetrical oval designed to stand free in the room. Its sides rise vertical from a rounded base to a flat 20mm rim, with no flare, foot or detail. At 1700mm long and 800mm wide, it suits bathrooms where the bath should hold the space without dominating it.

The vertical exterior does not dictate the interior. Inside, the walls slope to a 450mm depth, with the overflow set at 376mm, so the back and shoulders are supported in a reclined position at either end. The sheer edges in the photographs describe the outer form only.

The shell is Acryl IV, Cavari's thermally formed acrylic backed by four layers of fibreglass and resin where most acrylic baths use two, 6–9mm through the wall. The reinforcement is what gives the Serene its weight, 54kg empty, and a shell that sits solidly in place, with no give at the rim or base under load and far less of the flex that leads to cracking over time. It stands on a concealed one-piece metal frame with soft rubber feet, rather than the hard plastic most baths use, so they do not harden and crack with age. A white click-clack waste, colour-matched to the bath, sits centred in the base, with a plain overflow in the same colour; the waste is also offered in every Cavari brassware finish, so it can be matched to the taps and filler in the room. Every Serene is CE certified and carries a fifteen-year guarantee.

Finished in Glossy White, a reflective surface that runs unbroken around the oval and carries the light of the room across the vertical sides.
