Design & Material

A concealed cistern hides everything except the plate, so the two are supplied together. Each flush plate comes with the Cavari concealed cistern it was drawn for — choose the one that suits your pan, floor standing or wall hung, and the plate arrives ready to finish the assembly.

The plate itself is flat and rectangular, set close to the wall and squared at the edge. Square buttons read as one continuous surface; round buttons give a softer, more traditional face. Both share the same body, so the decision is one of character rather than specification.

Pressed from SS304 stainless steel and finished in brushed stainless, brushed gold, aged gold, satin bronze, gunmetal black or antique brass, it carries the same surface treatment as our taps and showers.

The cistern behind it is built into the wall or a duct: an HDPE tank with plastic internals, set to a 180mm P-trap roughing-in, with an iron supporting frame on the wall hung version. CE certified, and guaranteed 10 years on the tank, one year on the fittings.

Is the flush plate dual flush?

Yes. Our flush plates are dual flush.

Is the flush plate compatible with other brands' cisterns?

No. Our flush plates are designed to work exclusively with our own concealed cisterns and are not compatible with cisterns from other brands. We recommend ordering the flush plate and cistern together.

Is the dual-flush mechanism in the flush plate or the cistern? Does the plate use pipes?

The dual-flush mechanism is housed in the cistern. Rather than air pipes, the flush plate operates two mechanical flush rods fitted to the cistern.

Can you service the cistern through the flush plate?

Yes - the plate aperture is the service opening, and the cistern is designed so everything that wears is reachable through it without touching the wall.

Guarantee

The Flush Plate with Concealed Cistern carries a fifteen-year guarantee on the main body and a seven-year guarantee on components from the date of delivery, against manufacturing defects in normal domestic use.

To claim, contact us in writing with your proof of purchase and photographs. We will repair the set or replace the affected part. The guarantee requires installation by a qualified professional and is in addition to your statutory rights.

Delivery & Lead Times

The Flush Plate with Concealed Cistern is delivered on a pallet by our freight partner, Monday to Friday, to the kerbside nearest your property. You will receive a two-hour delivery window on the morning of delivery, and a signature is required. The driver cannot carry the set inside, so please arrange help to move it into the property.

In-stock sets are dispatched the next working day after order confirmation, with tracking sent by email. Please check the set on arrival and report any damage within 72 hours, noting it on the delivery receipt with photographs. Surcharges apply to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, offshore islands and other remote postcodes.

Returns

You can cancel your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason, and then have a further 14 days to return the items. Pieces must be unused, uninstalled and in resaleable condition, ideally in their original packaging. You are welcome to open the packaging and inspect an item, but anything installed, used or connected to water or power cannot be returned, nor can made-to-order or bespoke pieces.

To start a return or exchange, open our returns portal and enter your order number with your email address or postcode, then choose the items, a reason and the outcome you would like.

Smaller items: the portal issues a tracked DPD shipping label. Change-of-mind return costs are yours to cover, so the label cost is deducted from your refund.

Baths, vanity units, shower screens and other pallet-delivered pieces: the portal will ask you to contact us. We arrange specialist collection, confirm the estimated cost with you first, and deduct the actual cost from your refund.

If you are exchanging for a piece of similar value, we cover the cost of the return, whatever its size. No restocking fees apply.

Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of your return being received and inspected, including the standard outbound delivery charge. If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs, and keep all packaging so we can arrange a replacement.
